“1776” This 1972 film is a renowned musical drama adapting the Broadway play, depicting the political struggle within the Continental Congress to sign the Declaration of Independence. Seth Cotlar will facilitate a Q & A Session following the film’s showing. Professor Cotlar specializes in the history of the United States in the years between the American Revolution and the Civil War.
