Garden University: Haiku and Nature

Natalie DaSilva, a Certified Oregon Naturalist with a lifelong interest in haiku, is coming to The Oregon Garden to guide you through constructing a haiku using nature as your inspiration – no experience needed, beginners are welcome!
In this workshop, participants will learn about the centuries-old tradition to connect with nature through a short and simple form of poetry, and will also be guided through trying their own hand at writing haiku.

Pens & paper will be provided.
